The shoulders are knit in a rib pattern that starts at the collar, runs down the shoulder and all the way down the sleeve into the cuff. The Saddle Shoulder Sweater Knitting pattern has a yoke that is shaped with German short rows for a good fit, and the neckline is shaped with increases alongside the short rows. The sweater knitting pattern is worked top down, so the length is fully adjustable. The Elva Sweater features a turtleneck, which is also knitted in ribbing, giving the sweater a wintery, cozy look. The sleeves are designed with a little extra length to complete the casual, modern look of the sweater.
