LOTTA HAT

Description

The Lotta ribbed hat knitting pattern is a knitting pattern for a hat that is cozy, soft and stylish and with which you can knit a hat in a 2×2 rib pattern. The Lotta hat is knitted from the bottom up. First, the hat is knitted in a 2×2 rib pattern after which decorative decreases are made at the top of the ribbed hat knitting pattern by knitting stitches together. The I-cord edge ends the 2×2 hat knitting pattern and gives it a beautiful finish.

RECOMMENDED Needle SIZE

Circular knitting needle 6.0 mm [US10] (40 cm) [16 inches]

DPNs 6.0 mm [US10] or circular knitting needle 6.0 mm [US10] (80 oder 100 cm) [40 inches] for the Magic Loop method

Gauge

In rib pattern (k2, p2) on 6.0 mm:

20 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Note that you will need more yarn if you want to knit the beanie longer.
