Description

With the Nanna hat knitting pattern you can knit yourself a hat in a wide rib pattern. The hat knitting pattern is perfect for a special skein of yarn and is particularly soft and fluffy thanks to the mohair. The wide rib pattern is shaped by decreases at the tip and you will knit a hat that fits your head perfectly. The Italian cast-on gives the hat knitting pattern a clean and elegant edge. For a head circumference of:

53 – 57 cm

 

RECOMMENDED Needle SIZE

Circular needle 4.0 mm [US6] (40 cm) [16 inches]

and

double-pointed needles 4.0 mm or circular needle 4.0 mm [US6] (80 or 100 cm) [ 40 inches] for the Magic Loop method.

 

Gauge

In rib knit pattern p5, k7 on 4.0 mm needles:

21 sts x 38 r = 10 x 10 cm

 

Materials

100 g “Pimlico” by Beautiful Knitters (100 g = 212 m)

held together with

25 g “Lace” by Lang Yarns (25 g = 310 m)

The project is worked with two strands held together.

Note that you will need more yarn if you want to knit your hat longer than stated in the pattern.
